Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VisitSnap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

VisitSnap is a platform that helps pet grooming businesses create shareable grooming journals and service records for their customers. The Service includes:

  • QR codes and links that connect customers to their pet's grooming journal and service history
  • Shareable service records with visit details, photos, and groomer notes
  • Analytics and attribution tracking for business clients
  • Free public tools (such as Groom Photos) for creating branded pet grooming content
  • Optional Google review integration for businesses

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Misuse any integrated third-party services (including Google Reviews)
  • Upload inappropriate, harmful, or misleading content (photos, text, or other media) through the Service or public tools
  • Misrepresent your relationship with a business or pet owner
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to harm others or damage our reputation

Business Client Responsibilities

If you are a business using our Service:

  • You must have legitimate rights to create and manage service records for your business
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of service records, pet information, and photos you upload
  • You must use customer data and service records responsibly and in compliance with applicable privacy laws
  • You are responsible for training your staff on appropriate use of the platform
  • You must comply with the policies of any third-party services integrated with VisitSnap (including Google Reviews)
  • You agree to use analytics and attribution data responsibly

Public Tools

VisitSnap offers free public tools (such as Groom Photos) that allow anyone to create branded pet grooming content. When using these tools:

  • You are responsible for the content you create and share
  • You should only upload photos that you have the right to use
  • We may process and temporarily store uploaded content to provide the tool's functionality
  • Uploaded content is not retained long-term after processing

User-Generated Content

When you upload content to VisitSnap (including photos, text, and service records):

  • You retain ownership of the content you upload
  • You grant VisitSnap a non-exclusive license to display, process, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service (for example, displaying photos on a grooming journal page or generating a shareable image)
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Business clients acknowledge that they are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws regarding any personal data they access through our analytics features.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VisitSnap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our Service.

Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with and relies on the following third-party services:

  • Google - Maps and Reviews integration
  • Supabase - Database hosting
  • Upstash - Caching
  • Vercel - Application hosting

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of these third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisitSnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VisitSnap and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in California.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
